Responsibilities: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) - Collect and record data on client progress and behavior - Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals - Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure effective treatment strategies - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred - Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to follow directions and work independently - Reliable transportation to travel to client locations Skills: - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques - Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior tracking tools - Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively - Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet Please note that this position may require working evenings or weekends based on client availability.
