Job Description
Under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, provide 1:1 interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities. Work with highly trained staff.
Requirements
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Have reliable transportation/vehicle.
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Provide immunization records.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Active RBT credential.
- CPR/First-Aid Certification preferred.
- QBS Safety Care or Crisis Prevention Certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Work experience with developmental disabilities population.
- Able to work with families of diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Understanding of ABA principles and able to apply those within a variety of contexts.
Functions/Roles
- Model ABA programs to caregivers.
- Implement Program Plans individualized to the client.
- Implement Behavior Support Plan individualized to the client.
- Provide direct ABA services.
- Collect and input data on a daily basis.
- Maintain documentation.
- Abide by the BACB ethics code while obtaining required certifications.
- For every 10 hours of 1:1 service, the BCBA will supervise for at least 2 hours.
