- Overnight 10pm-6am (awake at night) Full time (T-Sa) and PT (S/Su)
- 2nd shift 2pm -10pm One full time (Su-Th) and One full time (T-Sa)
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have Level One Fingerprint Clearance
Must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
One year of experiencing working with children preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in a Behavioral Health setting required
Requires eligibility to drive and requires applicants to have a good driving record. Must provide a 5 year driving record and valid Arizona drivers license
Must be able to obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification during in person orientation
Physical Exam, TB Test and drug screening required
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Prolonged periods of standing, sitting and supervision
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Presents clear, informative, accurate, and prompt observations (written and verbal) including documentation of member participation and other relevant information as primarily assessed through member report and/or observation. Must maintain member records according to established policies and procedures.
Provides supportive individualized coaching and training in daily living skills such as personal hygiene, nutrition, budgeting, and food preparation and purchase. Additionally, actively supporting the members in achieving their treatment plan goals.
Intervenes in crisis situations and demonstrates ability to provide individualized crisis management through appropriate verbal and/or physical de-escalation techniques.
Modeling of behavior strategies included in client individualized behavior plans
Observes and reports health safety functions including medication related issues, fire safety and emergency response, infection control, and any other incidents outlined in the policies and procedures that may risk the safety of our members.
Responsible for daily sanitation and cleaning of all living spaces. This will include bathrooms, kitchens, member's rooms and common spaces.
Maintains accountability of the members to our program structure and scheduled activities. This may include providing collaborative leadership and role-modeling.
Transports clients in agency vehicles as necessary. Staff may be asked to utilize their own personal vehicle, if approved according to the company's transportation policy.
Demonstrates working knowledge of communication skills used to foster positive growth including active listening skills.
Possesses knowledge of contemporary influences on adolescents including social stressors and group cultures.
Possesses intermediate knowledge of the behavioral attributes of mental health disorders that children and adolescents may be diagnosed with
Possesses intermediate knowledge of psychotropic medications prescribed for children and adolescents.
Demonstrates skill in the development of individualized productive relationships with members and staff.
Demonstrates basic writing skills including legible handwriting, correct spelling and grammar.
Demonstrates the ability to evaluate members and assist in the achievement of their treatment goals.
Demonstrates the ability to provide appropriate crisis and emergency response.
The pay range for this role is:
18 - 18 USD per hour(848 7Directions QRTP)
