GOBHI has an immediate opening for a full-time Behavior Interventionist to work with our clients in our Baker City, Oregon clinic.
No licensure or certification required! Training is provided in house.
The Behavior Interventionist provides one on one ABA interventions and treatment to children experiencing autism, in our Baker City clinic. Under the direction of the Behavior Analyst implement and execute positive behavior support treatment plans. All therapy and treatment plans are designed with and overseen by a Board Certified Analyst.

Essential duties include:
- Provide one on one play based ABA therapy with children 2 to 18 years of age in the child's home, clinic, and/or community setting.
- Demonstrate ability to playfully and spontaneously interact with children within a positive teaching context.
- Duties will be performed in a variety of settings in the presence of primary caregivers and supervisors.
- Implement individualized positive behavior support teaching plans.
- Prepare and submit all required medical billing-record documentation daily to ABA Administrator.
- Collect and input data into the digital data collection system to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan after every session.
- Ability to work with children with limited safety awareness, who move quickly from the floor to their feet, and may become physically aggressive or self-injurious.
- Flexible working schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Able to drive to treatment settings or other GOBHI locations in all season weather as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What is needed to succeed in this role:
- Experience - at least one year' experience working with children 2 to 18 years of age;
- Communication skills - Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written;
- Technology Savvy - comfortable using Microsoft Office software or Google Suites;
- Positive attitude - ability to approach problems in a positive manner;
- Problem solving skills - ability to work independently as well as in a team setting;
- Maintain a good driving record and vehicle insurance;
- Complete COVID vaccination required;
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent required and preferably 3 credit hours or equivalent in one of the following areas: Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Human Development, Early Childhood Development, Intro to Psychology, Behavior Psychology, Education, Speech/Language Pathology; Bachelor's degree preferred with focus of study in Human Service field preferred;
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred.
