Job Description
Our behavioral health services have been designed to meet the needs of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. We have worked hard to develop partnerships with local Community Centers and other agencies to provide quality services.
The Wood Group staff is trained to provide caring and compassionate services to the consumers involved in our programs. We work as a team with the Community Centers or other agencies to provide services to consumers so they can return to productive daily living in their community. We hope that in the future we will have the opportunity to visit your agency and discuss our services.
Behavior Health Tech duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
- Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
- Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
- Daily chart documentation
- Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures to include employee handbook. shift available.
- PRN (as needed)
Full-time shifts available:
The schedule is on a 12 hour rotating schedule, this schedule has built in overtime.

- High school diploma/or equivalent required.
- A valid Texas Driver's license, required.
- Certifications are not required for this position. CNA experience is a plus.
- Experience working in the mental health field, preferred.
