Specifics:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology. Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification. Three (3) years' experience in an educational setting developing and implementing positive behavioral intervention plans for students diagnosed with complex and/or other behavioral challenges, including one (1) year experience supervising a Behavior Specialist. Advanced training in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis. Under direction of the Student Support Services Director, the Behavior Analyst is responsible for providing support, consultation and training to administrators, teachers, staff and para-educators in implementing appropriate behavioral interventions; conducting functional behavior assessment; developing behavioral intervention plans and/or escalation cycle management plans; overseeing the Behavior Specialist and to support classrooms and students; training and evaluating the performance of assigned staff. Perform other job-related duties as required.
