Before Care Out of School Time Educator (Part-Time)

Are you able to foster a learning environment that helps children grow to their best potential and are you a team player/cause driven leader ready to spread the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility to the future leaders of the world, YMCA members, staff and program participants? If so, we would love for you to join our School's Out team with the YMCA of Central Massachusetts! Opportunities exist in Fitchburg at the Montachusett Community Branch.

The successful candidates will work directly (year-round) in person with children in our branch supporting the students as they navigate the school year.

Staff will ensure that children are actively participating in all aspects of learning programming of area school systems. Staff will be physically working at our YMCA of Central Massachusetts branch assisting children who are attending classes both with Out of School Time programming and/or virtual Learning if applicable at any time.

Schedule: School Year: Monday through Friday,

Beforecare: 6:30am-9:00am

Interested applicants should be over 18 and have prior experience, preferably 6 months, working with school aged children, have a high school diploma/GED or in the process of obtaining a degree in a similar profession.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $15.00/hour Access to facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
