Beauty Advisor

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty Consultant to join our team. As a Beauty Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and beauty advice to our clients. Your knowledge of beauty products and trends, combined with your excellent communication skills, will help our customers enhance their natural beauty and achieve their desired look.

Duties:
- Provide personalized beauty consultations to clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and services
- Demonstrate and apply beauty products, including makeup, skincare, and haircare items
- Assist clients in selecting the right products for their specific skin type, hair texture, and desired outcome
- Perform makeup applications, skincare treatments, and hairstyling services as needed
- Educate clients on proper product usage and application techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including product displays and demonstration areas
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Manage social media accounts to promote beauty products, services, and special offers
- Utilize salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns or inquiries in a professional manner
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their beauty needs
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for accurate transaction processing
- Knowledge of social media management to promote beauty products and services online
- Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Front desk experience is beneficial for managing client appointments and inquiries
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle incoming calls professionally
- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to upsell products or services to increase sales revenue

Pay: $19.00 - $21.74 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
