Beautician/Stylist

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Beautician to join our team. As a Beautician, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of beauty services to our clients. Your expertise and creativity will help our clients enhance their natural beauty and boost their confidence. ```Responsibilities```

• Welcome Elders and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes
• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
• Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
• Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)
• Form bonds with Elders and remember their hairstyle preferences
• Manage bookings and serve same day requests if possible or have us schedule appt's.
• Ensure tidiness of beauty station and sterilize tools, as needed

```Requirements```
- Valid cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a Beautician or similar role
- Proficient in hair styling techniques, including the use of straight razors
- Knowledge of hair extensions and their application methods
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs
- Ability to sanitize tools and equipment according to industry standards
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.99 - $21.67 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
