Bath Aide - ICF-Homestead
Objective: Provide support to those with developmental disabilities in a person-centered way. Assist with baths, showers, and personal cares such as toothbrushing and dressing.
Schedule: Work anywhere from 20-40 hours a week, days or evenings, with weekend shifts available! Short shifts of 4 hours are available, as well as flexible scheduling.
Wage: $16.50 plus differential pay for the ICF - Homestead location
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with bathing, including sponge baths, showers, tub baths, and/or bed baths.
• Perform or assist residents with personal grooming needs (shaving, hair care, nail care, oral hygiene, denture care, skin care, and cosmetics)
• Assist residents in dressing and undressing, as needed, in clothing appropriate to the time of day and season of the year.
• Complete daily direct care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and changing.
• Complete household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all communications to HMC, whether written or verbal, external and internal.
• Follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Caring and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move individuals with the use of a Hoyer lift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education degree.
• Prior experience or training is not required, but having experience as a CNA, PCA, Caregiver, DSP, or healthcare-related professional is preferred.
• Must pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study
• Willingness to learn, be a team player, good communication skills.
