SalaryWe are looking for a youth Basketball Scorekeeper for games that take place at Mayfield High School and Orange High School on Saturdays from around 12pm - 4pm. The scorekeeper will be in charge of keeping individual stats (points, rebounds, free throws, fouls, etc.) and team stats (points, team fouls, timeouts, etc.) on paper, as well as keep track of the running score and be in charge of stopping the clock on the scoreboard. The candidates must have access to a vehicle to be able to drive to their specific court for that particular day. Timeliness is absolutely critical as games must keep schedule and they will start without you! The scorekeeper *must* be familiar with the rules of basketball, and ideally have prior experience scorekeeping basketball and must be knowledgeable of the game. He/she will need to pass a training evaluation prior to receiving the job. Scorekeeper will receive $16 per game, and games are scheduled every hour (game clock time is only 32 minutes long). This is a perfect side job to make extra money on the weekend!
