Are you passionate about baseball and looking to make an impact in the sports industry? Join our Nationally Ranked organization as a Baseball Operations Assistant, where you'll play a key role in the development of youth, collegiate and professional baseball players. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the sports industry in the Washington DC area.
The Baseball Operations Assistant is immersed in the organization by supporting the Senior Leadership Team in the following ways.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Player Development: Collaborate with staff to implement targeted player development strategies, focusing on skill refinement and performance optimization.
2. Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of our performance facilities and fields to ensure an effIcient, safe and organized environment for both players and staff.
3. Logistics and Scheduling: Contribute to developing and maintaining schedules for facility usage, field allocation, practices, games and events. Assist with the management of travel arrangements for coaches and teams.
4. Data Management & Analytics: Work closely with the Baseball Operations team to collect, organize and analyze player performance data, contributing insights to performance evaluations and optimizing training strategies.
5. Scouting Support: Support scouting efforts by assisting in assessments, maintaining databases, and facilitating communication with potential recruits.
6. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, including communication and documentation, to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Baseball Playing Experience: High School, College or Professional
- Passion for baseball with a solid understanding of the game and player development principles.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in sports facility management or operations is preferred.
