FTK Baseball is a NEW baseball club located in Phoenix, Arizona that has taken over previously existing "Niners Baseball (9rs)".
A new era of excellence as we take the helm from the esteemed Niners Baseball. Our expansive indoor facility, equipped with all turf, four batting cages with top of the line pitching machines, and four pitching mounds, serves as the cornerstone of our journey toward elite-level status. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Baseball Coach to join our organization. As a coach for our organization, you will be responsible for instructing and training athletes in the fundamentals of baseball, developing their skills, and fostering a positive and supportive team environment. If you have a passion for baseball and enjoy working with young athletes, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Develop practice plans and lead training sessions to improve players' skills in areas such as hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running
- Teach proper techniques and strategies for playing baseball
- Organize and supervise team practices, scrimmages, and games
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to help them improve their performance
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline among players
- Monitor player progress and make adjustments to training plans as needed
- Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games
- Collaborate with other coaches to develop game strategies and lineups
- Attend league meetings and participate in coach training programs
Qualifications:
- Must have played or coached collegiate or professional baseball
- Strong knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Experience working with students or children in a coaching or mentoring capacity
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- CPR and first aid certification (preferred)
