The Old Santa Fe Inn is hiring bartenders for our new Lounge Bar. This job is perfect for candidates seeking a fun, independent, fast-paced environment, with excellent benefits, an exciting food and drink menu, and the opportunity to meet great people. We are looking for a dedicated team-member, who is guest and business oriented, friendly and creative.
Applicants must have previous Bar and Server experience; valid alcohol server and food server permits in the state of NM and be able to pass a pre-employment screening.
Other qualifications: candidates must be able to stand and walk for an eight hour shift while carrying trays of food and/or beverage, lift at least 40 lbs, be a minimum of 21 years of age, be able to communicate in English with guests and coworkers (Spanish a plus), be able to count correctly and give proper change, and be able to perform job functions in an outdoor environment. Basic computer skills are required.
After a thoughtful renovation the Lounge at Old Santa Fe Inn is destined to become a well frequented place with nice food and beverage offerings right at the entrance to the Plaza area. The beautiful and protected patio area will become a wonderful spot for the surrounding Neighborhood. The Old Santa Fe Inn has a vibrant summer patio that is great for light dinner and drinks. Surrounded by potted plants and local flora, guests enjoy a tranquil reprieve in the heart of Santa Fe.
