SalarySurge Entertainment by Drew Brees is the top entertainment destination for kids, families and adults in and around the Mobile area. We offer activities like bowling, strike arena, sports simulators, arcades and more along with a full restaurant and bar (Surge Prime Bistreaux). We are looking for someone to join our entertainment center's on-site hospitality team to deliver great customer service to our guests for all of the entertainment activities we offer.
Server:
A server at a family entertainment facility is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests. Key responsibilities may include:
Greeting and Seating:
Welcome guests as they arrive and assist in seating them.
Provide menus and explain any specials or promotions.
Order Taking:
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Ensure special dietary requests or restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
Service:
Deliver orders promptly and accurately to the tables.
Check in with guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
Address any concerns or issues raised by guests.
Upselling:
Suggest additional items, desserts, or beverages to enhance the dining experience.
Payment Handling:
Process payments accurately and provide change when necessary.
Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
Cleanliness:
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
Communicate effectively with other servers and staff members.
Bartender:
A bartender at a family entertainment facility is responsible for preparing and serving beverages. Key responsibilities may include:
Mixing Drinks:
Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Customize drinks based on customer preferences.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations.
Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies when necessary.
Keep track of popular drinks and adjust inventory accordingly.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
Keep an organized cash register and provide change as needed.
Cleanliness:
Ensure the bar area is clean and well-maintained.
Wash glassware and utensils regularly.
Compliance:
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Verify the age of customers to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
Entertainment:
Contribute to the overall entertainment experience by participating in themed events or promotions.
Both positions require excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability and a customer-centric approach are essential for success in these roles.
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
Food and beverage handler permit required
Familiarity with Alabama's alcohol laws and regulations
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job.
