Oak & Saint is highly inspired by Omotenashi hospitality, service is from the bottom of the heart – honest, no hiding, no pretending. Our staff should craft consistent excellent coffee, wine and bites while practicing Omotenashi hospitality principles.
Oak & Saint is a coffeeshop and wine bar coming soon. Serving a variety of guests such as SAFEHOUSE members (a members only social house) and plan to deliver excellent service at all times, setting a standard of professionalism as we work morning shifts and night shifts. We require individuals that are precise, good communicators, serve with excellence, efficient with time and other areas in work.
Our hope is to have long term individuals here at Oak & Saint to inspire and bring the Omotenashi hospitality to life for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and excellent customer service to guests.
- Collaborate effectively within a team.
- Address customer queries about the beverage menu.
- Learn and operate hot-brewing equipment for coffee, tea, and other drinks.
- Accurately take and fulfill orders, considering customizations.
- Prepare beverages following instructions.
- Prepare and serve pastries or food.
- Receive and process payments,
- Clean and maintain brewing equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Follow opening and closing checklist’s.
- Manage inventory and communicate low stock to managers.
- Comply with health regulations
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Work morning, mid-day and evening shift.
- Prepare mocktails and wine.
- Prepare small appetizers and pastries.
- Memorizing items on menus such as, wine, appetizer, pastries, coffee.
- Communicating solutions to guests well.
- Bringing a sense of warm service to our guests and being intuitive on guests needs.
Note: Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
