Form of workJuan Valdez Café in City Place Doral, Florida is currently looking for two ENERGETIC employees for our cashier/barista lead position. We need someone who has experience in sales and is looking to help us boost our revenue as a store. We will train you as a barista and shift leader.
At least High-school level education to apply. 17+ to apply.
Must be friendly, outgoing and self sufficient and bilingual. (English and Spanish)
Pay will be increased once you become a certified Juan Valdez barista.
Some of your daily tasks while working at Juan Valdez Cafe
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
- Clean service or seating areas.
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
- Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products.
- Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions.
- Receive and process customer payments.
- Offer and sell promotional items
- Able to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- Able to squat and stand for long hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
