```Duties``` - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, lattes, and teas - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other beverage equipment - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or Aloha POS system - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints ```Experience``` - Previous experience in the food service industry or as a barista is preferred but not required - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is a plus - Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly service Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
