Position Overview:
As a Barista at Broadway Bistro and Vintage Trade, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will have the opportunity to engage with our diverse customer base, share your knowledge and enthusiasm for coffee, and contribute to the warm and inviting atmosphere of our coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about our coffee offerings, brewing methods, and menu items.
- Accurately handle cash and operate the cash register.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and uphold our brand's values.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different coffee varieties and brewing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
