Responsibilities:
Barista:
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
- Operate espresso machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage the cash register and handle transactions with customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace and customer seating areas.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability.
- Assist in making smoothies, toasts, and other menu items as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns promptly.
Sandwich & Salad Maker:
- Prepare sandwiches and salads according to menu specifications, emphasizing quality and presentation.
- Wash, cut, and prep vegetables and other ingredients for sandwich and salad making.
- Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained for daily operations.
- Uphold kitchen hygiene and safety standards by cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Handle dishwashing duties, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Back of Shop (Smoothie/Acai Bowl Maker):
- Prepare acai bowls, smoothies, and toasts quickly and efficiently, following recipe guidelines.
- Operate blenders and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Customize orders based on customer preferences and dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area and equipment.
- Stock and manage inventory for all ingredients, ensuring freshness.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to expedite orders accurately.
- Engage with customers as needed, providing product information and receiving feedback.
- Manage the cash register and handle transactions with customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Must be available to work mornings; our shops operate until 3 pm.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative.

Pay: $16.85 - $18.00 per hour
