Primary Responsibilities:Foster excellence in hospitality by providing exceptional coffee and quality service to the congregation at Calvary andpatrons. This role requires being hospitable and skillful in preparing high-quality hot/cold beverages and food items for distribution.Additionally, cleaning, organizing, rotating stock, and working with volunteers are important parts of this position.
Essential Functions:
- Champion the mission, values, and culture of Calvary Worship Center
- Provide quality products in a welcoming environment
- Engage with and understandpatrons
- Consistently monitor product quality andimprove as needed
- Ability to train volunteer servants
- Available at least 20 hours per week (may vary in support of ministry)
- Ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned by church leadership
Job Requirements:
- Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christand display Christ-centered behavior (treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity always)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Has at least 1-year experience in a coffee shop or restaurant
- Experience preparing high-quality hot & cold drinks and food items
- Excellent interpersonal skills to serve others with care
- Trustworthiness: Consistently maintain accurate financial documentation

Physical Demands:
- This position is physically demanding and has physical requirements that are not limited tolifting over 20, standing long hours, moving at a fast pace, and working with very hot equipment.
- Cleaning duties include sweeping, moping, wiping, dusting, and polishing.
Expected Hours of Work:To be Determined by the Pneuma Manager. Hours vary throughout the year,soflexibility is required. However, 15 hours per week are minimum.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
The PCH Barista is directly accountable to the PCH Manager of Calvary Worship Center. He or she is expected to be accountable to all official and functional procedures and policies of Calvary Worship Center and its administrative decisions.
Loyalty:Loyalty and support to Sr. Pastor and the rest of the staff is absolutely necessary. On occasion, you may not agree with the philosophy or procedure used, but your total support is necessary and is to be carried out accordingly.
Spiritual Character:The expectationis for CWC employees to intentionally grow in their Christian faith and exhibit Christian character, demonstrated by their attitude, appearance, and conduct.
Evaluations:A review of job performance will be conducted annually to assess the productivity and effectiveness of the coffee house manager.
