Barista - Full Time

We're looking for a Barista to join our team of professional coffee enthusiasts! The Barista is responsible for preparing specialty drinks, accurately measuring and pouring drink ingredients, making recommendations to customers based on their tastes and interests, ensuring propreties are maintained in the cafe environment, providing customer service and following all company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to prepare varied coffee beverages in a timely manner. This involves grinding coffee beans, brewing espresso shots, steaming milk, and pouring it into a cup to create a delicious coffee beverage.
• Providing excellent customer service: greet customers, take orders, and answer questions about the menu, handle customer complaints and ensure that customers have a pleasant experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, equipment, such as coffee machines, grinders, and blenders.
• Maintain and manage inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies and restock supplies as needed.
• Manage cash and credit card transactions, make change, and operate the register.
• Reconcile the register at the end of each shift.
• Knowledgeable about coffee recipes and be able to follow them accurately to ensure consistency and quality.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about coffee.

Requirements

• Knowledge of coffee and equipment
• Barista experience is strongly preferred

Pay: By the hour (plus tips) / range on experience. Starting from $15.00 to $17.00
