Barista Coffee Shop

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the cash register or POS system
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or issues
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings and promotions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
