Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers
- Operate cash registers and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Follow food safety procedures and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Prepare food items such as pastries and sandwiches
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in retail math for handling transactions and calculating change
- Experience in food service industry with knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with operating cash registers, specifically Aloha POS system
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle food safely to prevent contamination and ensure quality
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating proportions, and managing inventory accurately
- Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Competence in cash handling procedures to process payments accurately
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
