Bariatric Dietitian – Part-Time

We have a terrific part-time flexible opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspired registered dietitian. Prime Surgicare is comprised of a motivated team of healthcare professionals who focus on health and bariatric patient support and satisfaction, first and foremost. We're friendly, efficient and looking for a new manager to oversee our nutrition program for bariatric warriors.

Office Locations: Freehold, NJ; Holmdel, NJ (one day); occasional remote

Core Responsibilities:

· Develops and nurtures a positive and inspirational rapport with patients before, during and after weight loss goal is achieved.

· Develops pre- and post-op bariatric nutrition care plans and documents patient records for bariatric team review.

· Provides dietary consultations for non-bariatric patients.

· Has familiarity with prescribing whole food plant-based nutrition.

· Collaborates with physicians and nursing to deliver quality nutrition care in COE bariatric center.

· Facilitates a 2X/month support group (1 in-person group hosted at CentraState Medical Center; 1 online group via Zoom) for pre and post op bariatric surgery patients.
