Barback and Food Runner

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barback / Food Runner / server to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and creating a memorable dining experience. If you have a passion for food service, beer and mixology and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers under direction of bartender

- Take and process food and drink orders accurately and efficiently when acting as server (Brewpub / Bar)

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences

-Provide Expo of food items from kitchen via dumbwaiter to servers (in roof bar area) or to customers (in Brewpub/ Bar) as server

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and Food expo area

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

- Handle cash transactions and process payments

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

- Assist in bar preparation as needed and set up / break down the bar area before and after each shift

- Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of food menus, beer offerings, and mixology techniques

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Server or similar role

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Some Knowledge of beer systems, drink recipes and mixology techniques

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Familiarity with food handling procedures is required

- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your jurisdiction)

- Ability to stand for long periods of time
