Bar Manager/Bartender

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high standard of quality in beverage offerings. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in bar management, we would love to hear from you. This job is perfect for someone who previously owned/managed a bar and would like to get back into the game on a smaller level or someone who's been bartending for sometime and would like to run a bar of their own! (You'll also get free movies!)

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control

- Train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures

- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Oversee the selection and ordering of beverages, ensuring an appealing and diverse menu

- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns promptly

- Stay updated on industry trends and new products to enhance the bar's offerings

- Handle any customer complaints or disputes in a professional manner

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in bar management or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktails, wine, and beer

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for guests

- Knowledge of food service management principles is preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

We are currently looking for someone part-time, three days a week. Based on business this could expand. Looking to hire by the beginning of May. Pay is negotiable based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
