BANQUET TEAM MEMBER
POSITION SUMMARY
Monserate Winery is a new family winery that has a vision of delivering excellence and fun, with a focus on integrity and community. We are looking for an amazing team to grow with. A successful candidate has an incredible work ethic, is detail-oriented and enjoys a fast-paced work environment. The Event Staff position is a multi-faceted position. The main responsibility is to set up and breakdown an event but may be needed perform food and drink serving duties at various types of events. Must interact with guests and fellow staff in a friendly and positive manner
QUALIFICATIONS
1. One year or more in the hospitality field, customer service, banquet or restaurant service preferred.
2. Strong work ethic.
3. Must be 21+ years of age or older.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to resolve guest complaints.
5. Strong verbal communication skills.
6. Professional in appearance and demeanor.
7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be dependable.

1. Providing a five-star hospitality experience to guests who attend events, weddings, concerts, corporate functions, community functions, inter-winery, etc.
2. Event/wedding implementation from room set-up to serving and take down and clean up. Must use Monserate Winery Standards of Service as it relates to proper techniques especially while service and clearing.
3. Perform necessary duties to help maintain event equipment, supplies, decorations, etc. by washing, fixing, storing, etc.
4. When directed by supervisor; perform other functions necessary to the winery such as seasonal decorating, assisting other departments, etc.
5. Any other duty as assigned by direct or indirect supervisor.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in typical conditions of a tasting room to include hard flooring with uneven ground. May occasionally be exposed to wet floors. On the grounds, may encounter walking on grass, dirt, debris, uneven ground, vineyards, etc.Duties:
- Sanitate tables and chairs in the dining area
- Bussing tables and cleaning up after customers
- Assisting with basic food preparation in the kitchen
- Operating cash registers and handling customer transactions
- Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
