Stratigos Banquet Centre is a family owned and operated company. We have been around for over 65 years. We treat everyone like family! We are looking for a reliable, hard working and friendly individual to join our setup/serving team!
Most weeks setup includes, moving tables/chairs, vacuuming/light cleaning.
We setup each table with linens, and then follow with silverware, glassware/ centerpieces. Depending on the BEO (Banquet Event Order) some setups require more items and some require less. It just depends on what the function is.
Every event is different but we provide the setup team with a room view that has all items labeled and pictured in the correct location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks related to setting up for an event
- Setting up tables/ chairs
- Follow a room view guide to see how the room should be setup.
- Placing china, glassware and silverware at the correct place setting.
- Handle materials and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time.
-Must be able to lift 50lbs.
-Stand on your feet for long periods of time.
-Able to be active, job requires a lot of walking around the room.
