Banquet Server & Fine Dining Server
Job Title: Banquet Server and/or Fine Dining Server
Reports to: Management Team—General Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Food and Beverage Director, Event Coordinator, Director of Events, Executive Chef
Wage status: Hourly+ service charge
Responsibilities: Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, serve food and beverage in a courteous and efficient manner, complete all side-work as assigned, ensure banquet areas are kept clean and tidy at all times, provide warm and friendly hospitality, work closely with bussers and bartenders to provide an excellent dining experience for members and guests, should have excellent knowledge of the food, wine, and beer menus, and have the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
Qualifications: Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, team player attitude, ability to multitask, attention to detail and quality.
Experience: 1 year as a banquet or fine Dining Server preferred
Communication: Must be able to communicate with a diverse work force, which includes servers, bartenders, chefs, guests, and management team.
Physical Demands: Must be able to move quickly; must be able to stand for long periods; must be able to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds. This job does require lifting and carrying trays and moving tables and chairs.
Psychological Demands: Must be able to work with sense of urgency; must possess the ability to multitask; must pay close attention to details.
La Crosse Country Club’s banquet servers will work a variety of conditions. Shifts can vary from indoors to outdoors.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $20.76 per hour
