Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve food and beverage items.
- Interact positively with guests and resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Run food from the kitchen to the event space.
- Maintain communication with all departments to ensure customer service needs are met.
- Clean and clear tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, service carts as necessary.
- Set up for banquet events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placements, setting up buffets, and moving banquet equipment as necessary.

Physical demands:
- Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems; however, must be able to work in
extreme temperatures like freezers (-10 º F) and kitchens (+110 º F), possibly for one hour or more.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length and in limited space areas. Must be able to maneuver between tables.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, reaching, and performing repetitive motions; manual dexterity to operate equipment.
- Must be able to lift trays weighing up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis; push/pull carts or equipment weighing up to 250 pounds occasionally.
Qualifications and requirements:
A high school or equivalent education is preferred. Minimum of six months of prior food service experience is preferred. Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with any local legislative requirements.
