Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their needs are met
- Manage banquet staff and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operation of events
- Supervise food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary banquet environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create menus and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, and order additional items as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in banquet or catering management is required
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food handling, service standards, and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and execute events
- Ability to supervise a team of staff members and delegate tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors
- Proficient in kitchen management techniques and able to work collaboratively with kitchen staff
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
