Job Summary:

The banquet department is a very important part of the Hermitage Golf Course business with tournaments, weddings and other on-premise events. The position of Banquet Cook is responsible for food preparation. Maintaining a clean kitchen and workspace, and knowledge of sanitation practices and consistency in food preparation, is vital to this position.

Responsibilities and duties:

• 
  Maintain knowledge and keep adherence of sanitation guidelines.

• Maintain knowledge of the products we offer (food).

• Prompt and consistent reporting to work.

• Ensure clothing is clean, pressed, and in good condition and overall attire and appearance meets dress code guidelines.

• Maintain clean and ready workspace.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including coolers, freezers, and dishes.

• Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.

• Prepare and serve banquet food consistent with provided recipes and BEO timelines

• Treat all customers and employees with respect.

Requirements/Pay/Hours:

• $20-25 per hour based on experience

• Available afternoons/evenings (work 20-35 hours per week)

• Must be at least 18 years of age
