Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Ensure efficient and timely food production for banquet events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory control and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of banquets
- Adhere to all food service management policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in a banquet or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
