Immediately hiring a experiencedBand Saw Operatorfor a large shop in Floresville, TX. Start ASAP!
- Pay is $16 - $17/hr. depending on experience.
- Shift is M-F 7 am-5 pm and some Saturdays as needed.
- Previous Band Saw Operating experience required
Job details:
- Set up the machine to cut structural metal according to specifications.
- Measure and verify cuts are correct.
- Properly identify materials such as sheets, plates, channels, tubes, and flat bars along with their thickness and gauge.
- Must be able to read a tape measure down to a 1/16".
- Identify various types of metal.
- Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn.
- Overhead crane operation is a plus.
- Safety-oriented.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed and stand for the majority of the shift.
