Weekly Pay
Base Salary Rate: $17.60
2nd Shift ($19.10) includes shift differential and shift premium
3rd Shift ($20.10) includes shift differential and shift premium
Additional $1.00/Hour Weekend Premium Pay

Bama Companies is looking for Production Operators to work in a fast-paced assembly line production environment. Production Operators are responsible for operating automated equipment to support the creation, production and packaging process of Bama's products.
The Products: Handheld Pies, Biscuits, Dough, Hotcakes and Graham Shells.

Job Description: At Bama, the Machine Operator is expected to understand, engage and assist in leading production activities for their assigned work area. The Operator oversees the Production process to ensure Human Safety, Product Safety, Product Quality, Sanitation, Efficiency and Environmental Compliance.The operator is directly responsible for making a high quality, safe product; while minimizing scrap, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices.
The operator has the opportunity to train in multiple positions and operating multiple pieces of machinery and/or equipment.

Learn and Understand manufacturing process and drive continuous improvement.
Complete job tasks and responsibilities as directed or required (for example, counting and hand packing product into boxes, visually inspect product for quality and food safety issues that are out of compliance, perform assigned quality assurance checks, assist with packaging of product before it moves to palletization, assist in troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions)
Safely perform several tasks at once which may include operating multiple pieces of machinery
Participate in all team activities and training (e.g., continuous improvement projects, plant safety initiatives, crossovers, stretching, etc.)
Understand and comply with Bama's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), including head covering, facial hair requirements, gloves, shoes, etc.
Complete all required assessments and testing, including KPI (Key Performance Indicator) testing
Required:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Valid food handler's card through Tulsa Health Department
