Bakery Worker - Order Packer

Come join our team! 5 Generation Bakers is local manufacturing bakery that specializes in the production of Jenny Lee Cinnamon Swirl Bread, as well as other specialty baked goods. We are currently looking for an Order Packer / Bakery Worker to start immediately at our bakery in McKees Rocks, PA.

This position also works as a floater, which handles special projects in the bakery and provides support to other departments when needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn new skills or just entering the workforce.

Full time, Monday through Friday schedule. Shift is typically from 10am - 6:30pm with occasional OT.

Responsibilities include:

• Packing ecommerce orders for mail order program
• Preparing ingredients & trays for the day's production
• Organizing equipment that will be needed for the day
• Preparing seasonal or specialty baked goods. This includes but is not limited to hand rolling pretzel dough, icing baked goods, & loading pans onto oven racks
• Cleanup of work area at the end of each shift.
• Working main production & packaging lines when needed, or when there are no specialty products scheduled.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a production environment (ie: loud, hot etc.)
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend on a continual basis throughout shift. Ability to lift from floor to above the head, to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. repetitively, throughout work shift.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must have reliable attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
