Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets
- Monitor baking process to ensure proper timing and temperature
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, including measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and shaping products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
