Job Summary:

To provide leadership in the Retail division of the bakery. This includes set-up and breakdown of the retail area during days of operation, understanding all aspects from customer service, menus, paper goods, POS ordering, coffee/beverage program and cake ordering. Work closely with Pastry Chef to plan and execute retail sales and inventory daily.

Job Responsibility:

· Lead the retail team in serving guests in an open and hospitable way with a positive attitude.

· Keeping the retail team motivated to keep the showcase and surrounding areas clean, well-stocked and presentable.

· Knowledge of menu and additional offerings, allowing them to step in when a customer has a special request or question.

· Knowledge of menu and recognition of guest flow patterns to make educated decisions on when to ask the Bakery team for more product.

· Collect feedback through guest interaction and bring that to the Pastry Chef.

· Upholding Uniform and Etiquette policies of the Resor.t

· Upholding all training standards for opening and closing procedures, product handling/boxing, beverage service, etc.

· Maintain signage for the retail space, making sure everything is accurate and up to date.

· Alert the Pastry Chef of what needs to be ordered.

· Manage Toast Counts and Edits to make sure that the website is reflecting accurate information.

· Closing the register at the end of the shift, manage tip outs and cash deposits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
