We make delicious meat and deli products for brands and retailers across the country. Additionally, we have added a line of cheesecakes, knishes, babka, and cookies. As we continue to grow, we have a need for new talent to complement our existing core team. Job Description

The Bakery Operator will assist the Bakery Supervisor in the manufacturing of all goods:

- Measure and blend all ingredients to product specifications

- Operate equipment per the product manufacturing guidelines to ensure the highest product quality.

- Complete paperwork on time and accurately as required by quality and production management

- Follow the Good Manufacturing Practices and ensure all products are made with full FDA/USDA compliance

- Ensures a safe work environment following all OSHA guidelines

- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected

- Work with maintenance to ensure that equipment is in proper working order

- Assist with daily equipment and bakery cleaning as needed

Requirements

- High School Diploma/GED is a minimum requirement

- Minimum of 2 years food manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a bakery environment .

- Aptitude for problem-solving and mechanics

- Ability to work and communicate well with others and work as part of a team

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. as needed

Work Environment

- Alternates between the bakery manufacturing facility

- Work days M-F, multiple day shifts available beginning at 8am

- Weekends required
