The person in this position will be responsible for assisting the manager in the day to day operations of the bakery. The ideal candidate has customer service experience with some experience in a bakery, cafe, coffee shop, or ice cream shop. We are hoping to find someone with a love for the food industry, and a willingness to learn and grow within the bakery field. This position is great for the experienced worker/baker, OR also is a great entry-level position that will allow the right candidate to quickly learn about being in the kitchen and the basics of preparing batters, frostings, fillings, and so much more. A large part of the job is also multi-tasking while waiting on customers, as we are very customer-centric, and focus on top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Conform to standard food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Clean & sanitize the kitchen and equipment as needed.
- Operate mixing machines and ovens as needed.
- Operate cash register/POS to make sales.
- Keep store stocked with ingredients, supplies, and products for sale.
- Help customers choose products for purchase.
- Sell products requested by customers.
- Prepare batters, frostings and fillings, etc.
- Bake and Decorate, if experienced
- Evening Store Closing Responsibilities
This position would include some day shifts, but mostly closing shifts and at least one shift each weekend
Hours vary in the Summer, vs the Fall and Winter, based on shop closing times.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
