Backroom Associate

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming merchandise
- Organize and maintain inventory in the backroom
- Package and label merchandise for shipment or storage
- Operate forklift to move and stack merchandise as needed
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular counts and audits
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales associates to fulfill customer orders
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers on the sales floor
- Operate cash register and process customer transactions when needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or retail environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and backroom operations
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and practices
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating discounts, sales tax, etc.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
