Background Investigator

`Claims Bureau USA, Inc. is a licensed private detective agency, operating nationwide. We are a growing and fast-paced company that is looking to expand our Background Department. The position requires a creative, curious, and quick-thinking individual who is willing and able to recognize significant information and follow a lead to its completion. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and time management skills. Must be self-directed and detailed-oriented.

New investigators will participate in an extensive remote training program, featuring in-depth work with experienced investigators. Three weeks of initial training will be provided, with PowerPoint presentations, case examples, exercises, and frequent video communication with fellow new hires and our investigative training coordinator. Ongoing investigative training/continuing education will be provided throughout your career at Claims Bureau USA. We are looking for individuals who seek to grow with our company!

Prior experience conducting investigations is preferred but not required to excel in this role. Applicants are welcome from all fields. Advancement based on performance – significant room for growth within this department! Collaborative and encouraging work environment, with frequent feedback.

Must be comfortable with in-depth Internet research, including, but not limited to, social media and local/government agencies. Comfort with court-based research is a plus. Examples of appropriate majors include pre-law, English, sociology, anthropology, history, criminal justice, psychology, and additional research-based subjects.
