Job Description Summary
Drives battery or propane powered industrial forklift equipped with fork and/or tote dumping attachments for moving empty pallets, pallets of product, totes, equipment, etc.
Receives and unloads materials from supplier trucks and maintains inventory in the dry warehouse.
Rotates through the Hyster Driver positions as needed.
Job Description

• Move various pallets from station to station as required by the Process or Packaging depts.
• Supplies stations with the correct production and materials as needed throughout the shift.
• Monitors remaining materials and supplies in storage.
• Blends bulk totes as directed by Warehouse Lead, Packaging Lead, Hashbrown Lead or Team Leads.
• Transports bulk totes to and from GP as needed.
• Receives and unloads materials from supplier trucks
• Maintains inventory in the dry warehouse
• Load cardboard waste on trailers
• Load recycle materials on trailers for shipment
• Organize and sort pallets in the pallet yard
• Load USDA potato samples at raw receiving onto trucks
• Drive and be Lamb Weston certified on forklift
• Changes large industrial forklift batteries as needed.
• Insures proper pallet tags, pallet tickets, etc. are placed properly.
• Communicates with Packaging Lead or Team Leads regarding problems with materials or equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area during production.
• Dumps waste bins as needed.
• Dumps frozen waste into waste truck.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Must work safely
• Must assist in the reduction of safety hazards and work safely at all times.
• Must behave in a professional manner at all times & comply with all Company policies & procedures. Performs other functions as directed by the Warehouse Lead, Packaging Lead, or Team Leads
• Must be able to pass a written forklift test as well as a driver's test
• Must maintain a good attendance record
• Must be able to operate levers and pedals to control movement of the forks or other attachments.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Must rotate through the Forklift Operator positions as dictated by the schedule or as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or warehouse lead
