Looking for a friendly, easy going, organized and hard working Back Office Assistant to join our busy Bellmore Podiatry Office!
No certification required! No experience necessary, willing to train the right person!
As a Back Office Medical Assistant/Helper you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation to our office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Fulfill patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include but not limited to;
- Ensure proper flow of patients into exam rooms
- Maintaining exam rooms in proper order by assuring that they are clean, neat and well equipped
- Cleaning and sterilizing medical/surgical instruments
- Prepping/Assisting during medical examinations
- Input basic patient medical history into EHR System
- Digital Orthotic Scanning
- Assisting with X-Rays
- Arrange laboratory services
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be a team player who is willing to excel in a high volume environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong leadership and planning skills
- Great communicator able to deal tactfully and professionally with patients, families, staff and physicians
The ideal candidate would be able to work in a busy environment with great leadership skills.
Availability Requirements:
- Morning and Afternoon. (flexible with hours)
- At least one night shift per week. (if needed)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
