A DAY IN THE LIFE
Every day has a different flavor as you work for The Sicilian Butcher. Sometimes, your job will be to clean and sanitize dishes so that Cooks have the supplies they need to prepare food and serve mouth-watering brunch food. It's all about wearing many hats!
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, using a dishwasher or by hand
- Keep the dishwasher clean and stocked. Immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager
- Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
- Clean and remove trash from designated kitchen areas
- Organize clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen
- Maintain proper levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
