Babysitter/Nanny

Job overview:

We are currently looking for an engaging nanny for our two girls (3 and 5 years old).

Duties:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, we will go over allergies as our five year old has severe ones.

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up toys and cleaning up after meals

- Follow established routines for naptime, bedtime, and other daily activities

- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or concerns in a calm and appropriate manner

- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving practices, communication is very important to us.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience caring for multiple children, through babysitting, nannying, or working in in early education

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children

- Basic cooking skills to prepare simple meals for the children

- Ability to provide educational support and engage children in learning activities

- Experience with toddlers is preferred

-Prior work experience for at least 1 year consecutive

-Basic BLS/CPR certification (we will pay for you to have this done if you are hired)

-Reliable transportation-must be willing to give driving record

-Car that can fit two carseats

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
