Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Solution Manager to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics Data Platform team located in Midland, MI or Houston, TX. The role will align to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows employees flexibility by choosing when to work remotely and when to attend on-site activities based on project work and role needs.
About you and this role
As the Azure Solution Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of solutions related to the Azure Platform and working closely with multi-disciplinary IT expert teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative digital solutions. You will orchestrate functional and technical requirement analysis - with emphasis on experience, simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability. The Azure Solution Manager will oversee the development, optimization, implementation, and adoption of solutions leveraging best-in-class Azure technologies. In this role, you will identify opportunities for innovating with digital capabilities aiming to accelerate Dow's digital transformation.
Responsibilities

• Manages the delivery of solutions related to Azure Platform using DevOps, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business analysts, to define and deliver solutions that meet business requirements
• Defines and manages project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that project objectives are met
• Identifies and manages project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation plans as needed
• Communicates project status and progress to stakeholders, ensuring that they are kept informed of project developments
• Ensures that solutions are designed and implemented in compliance with enterprise standards and best practices

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree, 8 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in solution management or project management, with a focus on Azure and DevOps
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process

Preferred Skills

• A degree discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another technical related field
• 10 years of relevant IT experience
• Strong knowledge of Azure and DevOps (Infrastructure as Code, YAML Pipelines) technologies and best practices
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
