The AVP Sub-Servicer Oversight role is responsible for managing the performance of approved Sub-Servicers. The role perform end-to-end surveillance on sub-servicing activities related specifically to servicing advances. They will monitor advances related to loss mitigation, default loan servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, property management, taxes and insurance. They will ensure timely filing of claims and collection of advances by the sub-servicers. They will ensure timely billing of advances by the servicers. They will lead the development, in partnership with internal lines of business, of standard operating processes and procedures and service level agreements for the Sub-Servicer Oversight Team. This team member will play a key role in ensuring that sub-servicers are servicing Lakeview’s portfolio appropriately.
The role can take advantage of Lakeview’s offices in Horsham, PA hybrid or fully-remote anywhere in the United States. The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 with annual bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
- Oversee day to day surveillance of servicing advances.
- Ensure completion of required reviews and testing for each sub-servicer review and testing module; aggregate daily exception escalations
- Review performance metrics and Lakeview’s management priorities to identify areas of focus for reviews and surveillance.
- Track escalation items and potential loss items and report these items to Lakeview’s management team.
- Partner with the servicing relationship team to create prioritization of outstanding items.
- Partner with the billing and accounting teams to ensure timely billing and reconciliation of advances.
- Develop new testing and reporting as needed based on sub-servicer performance and changes in process.
- Facilitating or participating in loan level reviews with Sub-Servicers pertaining to servicing advances.
- Participate in Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) conference calls to discuss performance, highlights, and areas of opportunities and special operational projects
- Assist with creating policies and procedures pertaining to Sub-Servicing Oversight

- 10+ years of Mortgage Servicing experience, including asset management, vendor management, process improvement, loss mitigation, and default processes.
- Experience in and understanding of agency guidelines as it pertains to: Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, REO and Claims, Transfer Management, Loan Boarding, Advance Reconciliation
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically, excel, power BI and word
- Black Knight/LoanSphere/LPS Desktop experience a plus (i.e., MSP/WebDirect, Servicing Director etc.)
- SQL (Structured Query Language) experience a must
- High school diploma/GED required; College degree preferred (experience can take the place of college degree)
