Job Overview:
The Assistance Vice President for Business Continuity Resiliency Governance, Oversight & QA, will report directly to the Vice President, Business Continuity Operations and be a member of the Enterprise Resiliency Team. The AVP, Business Continuity Resiliency is responsible for supporting the enterprise resiliency strategic vision and initiatives. The Business Resiliency AVP will have a lead role in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Resiliency Governance, Oversight and QA program. The person in this role is expected to work and communicate effectively with partners at different levels across all business units to assess resiliency risk, provide oversight and governance to Business Continuity Operational activities and establish routine resiliency reports consistent with the firm's policy and regulatory guidance.
Responsibilities:

  • Support and contribute to Enterprise Resiliency policy, strategies, plans, and playbooks
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive resiliency governance, oversight and Quality Assurance program
  • Support all activities related to Business Continuity Operations (Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, Testing) including the documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, user guides, job aids, process flow diagrams, and related resource materials and tools
  • Proactively self-identify resiliency risk issues, document risks, recommend corrective actions and mitigating controls
  • Interface with internal support partners (IT, Supplier Risk, etc.) to support the documentation and tracking of resiliency issue and gap remediation efforts
  • Upon demand, ad hoc which may occur after business hours, supports event response, management, and crisis communications in response to actual or potential business disruptions as they surface
  • Establishes and proactively grows working relationships with key business partners and stakeholders to understand business processes and provides support to drive Business Continuity Lifecycle activities such as the development and maintenance of business unit Business Continuity plans and execution of plan testing
  • Build and improve Business Continuity processes by gaining knowledge and incorporating best practices from internal and external sources

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a resiliency risk, business controls or compliance function
  • Licenses/Certifications: Business Continuity Certification Designation (MBCP, CBCP or BCI equivalent) or successful attainment of CBCP certification within first 6 months as a condition of employment,
  • Familiarity with using BCP planning and incident management tools (preferably Archer GRC, Everbridge, NC4, GETS/WPS)
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience with governance, oversight and Quality Assurance
  • Familiar with process, risk, and controls framework

Pay Range:
$99,880-$149,820/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
